Poisonous: All parts of the tomato plant, with the exception of the fruit are poisonous. It contains a steroidal glyco-alkaloid. If you have any doubts think about how tomoto plants smell. I think they smell pretty toxic. If you don't get it, try cutting or scraping a stem and smelling it.
