Description	The shiny leaves have small angles on the margin which come to sharp points, almost spines. The tree is evergreen. This is the familiar Chrstmas holly.
Toxicity	The berries are poisonous to humans and other animals, but some birds do eat them. I have proof that wild turkeys sometimes eat large quantities of the berries.
